The vibrating grizzly feeder consists of a disc section at the feed end to receive and begin separating material. The vibratory force is angled to the feeder and directed towards the discharge end. This bypassed material reduces the amount of material entering the crusher, reducing the size of the required crusher and the wear inside the crusher. The bypassed material can be mixed with the material passing through the crusher on the conveyor below. This pre-screened material protects the conveyor below from the material coming out of the crusher. The pre-screened material can be separated as a product or discarded if the fines in the material are contaminants.
