Therefore, in actual use, shaft fracture is a more common failure. A broken shaft will cause the circular vibrating screen to stop working immediately, and the maintenance is relatively complicated, which must be given high attention.

1.Causes of shaft breakage:

① Long-term metal fatigue. The shaft of the circular vibrating screen is a metal material, which will be subjected to a large torque for a long time during use, which will inevitably cause certain damage to the shaft. Under the action of long-term torque, the material inside the shaft will gradually create a gap, and the unbroken part will gradually yield, and eventually break under the action of torque.

② The tension of the V-belt is too high. If the tension of the triangle belt of the circular vibrating screen is too large, it will inevitably cause the shaft to significantly increase the stress during the work of the belt, even exceed the maximum strength of the shaft, and directly cause the shaft to be brittle. As a result, the internal force of the shaft is significantly increased, causing fatigue failure of the shaft in advance.

③ The material of the shaft is poor. There are large differences in torsional strength of different materials. If the texture of the material is poor, it will inevitably lead to low torsional strength and brittle failure is easy to occur.

① When choosing a shaft, a regular manufacturer must be selected, and the purchaser must also conduct a detailed inspection of the product to ensure that there is no problem with the material itself.

② It is forbidden to drive with material. The circular vibrating screen can only be driven without material.

③ Strengthen daily maintenance and inspection, and inspect the shaft regularly. Once it is found that there are bending, deformation and other phenomena, it must be replaced in time to avoid damage during transmission.

④ Adjust the tension of the V-belt, and reduce the tension of the V-belt as much as possible under the premise of ensuring normal transmission.

2. Transmission failure

Once a transmission failure occurs, the circular vibrating screen will be unusable, seriously affecting production. At the same time, transmission failures are more complex and maintenance is difficult. The more common transmission failures include wear of the flexible disk coupling, cutting off the protection cylinder connection screws and cracking of the protection cylinder, damage to the pulley bearing seat bearings, and tearing of the petal belt.

① Regularly carry out preventive inspections on the transmission part. In the inspection process, it is particularly necessary to pay attention to the longitudinal and lateral spacing of the bearings to ensure that the spacing meets the requirements.
